Students / enquirers: When you send an enquiry to a tutor through alphatuts, we collect your name and email address. We do not require registration for students.
Review submitters: When you submit a review, we collect your name, email address, and review content. Your email is used only to verify the review — it is not displayed publicly.
Contact form: When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message.
Usage data: We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.

Your registered login email is never displayed publicly. Students can also contact you through the platform's built-in enquiry form. Any contact details you choose to display publicly are entirely at your discretion — alphatuts is not responsible for any unsolicited contact you receive as a result of publishing your contact information.
Your data is stored on servers located in Australia. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and restricted admin access.
Profile photos and documents are stored in a secure, access-controlled directory and are not accessible without authentication where required.
